About Me

You've probably used DeepL, ChatGPT, Google Translate, or other AI tools to translate a text quickly.

While these tools are useful under certain circumstances, they do not represent what I offer my clients as a language professional. I'm here to help you get your point across in English. It is my goal to be your strategic partner in helping you reach your English-speaking audience.

In my approach, I take the bigger picture of your project into account. I look for context. I want to know the details of your project, how it is relevant for your business and what you need to achieve success.

Megan Sparacino

After moving to Germany in 2015, I learned German from scratch and by the end of 2016, I started working as a Project Administrator for an engineering firm that designed and built wind tunnels for clients in the automotive industry in Germany. Then starting in September 2021, I spent four years learning translation from professional translators and studying engineering terminology at the Professional College of SDI München. I passed the state exam for translators in Bavaria in 2025, becoming a state-certified translator for English and German.

This certification qualified me to become an officially appointed and sworn translator for the English language at the Landgericht München I (Munich Local Court I), which authorizes me to produce certified (beglaubigte) translations for you.

I am also a member of the German Association of Interpreters and Translators (Bundesverband der Dolmetscher und Übersetzer, BDÜ) and follow their code of professional and ethical conduct.
